Perfect!
I haven't had a machine for years. I've always had Singer machines in the past but decided not to get one based on the reviews. I just got this Brother machine a week or so ago and must say that it's so easy to use. If you are just starting out it's perfect. The directions are easy to follow ie: threading, bobbin winding. The only problem I'm having is that the foot lift handle is underneath and not in the back but that's just a matter of adjusting for me. I love this machine and think you will too!

GREAT USE FOR PROJECTS & CAREER!
I'm studying in Fashion Design and I always been wanting a sewing machine of my own. For the first time purchasing this online, it works great! I love it & it have the standard I wanted. The price was perfect! I got a great deal and it's worth buying. I would suggest this to anyone who need a sewing machine.

My husband bought me this sewing machine for christmas a couple years ago- he knew i was interested in attempting to sew. It is the easiest best machine i have ever used through the years and i am super happy with it! I recommend it to any friend who needs one!

great machine
i was teaching my self to sew with a mini sewing machine and i purchased this because it was on sale. i simply love it! and everyone i who uses mine agrees.

Great machine for beginner
Love this machine. I have never had any problems with it. I make nearly all my daughters clothing and love it. The only problems I have had were user error!

Great first sewing machine
I just received this sewing machine back in August of this year. I used it at first for simple projects, eventually moving on to making pajamas. It has been not only a great machine, but a great teacher. I have learned how to do and when to use many stitches by trial and error. It doesn't complicate your projects by adding a bunch of buttons and computer features. My two daughters (ages 10 and 6) have been watching me sew and are very interested in learning how. This will be a great machine for them to learn on also. It might seem lacking for the more experienced seamstress, but for newbies like me, it is a great value!
