Great light for my sewing room
I keep this light right beside my sewing machine table. I can swing it around to shed light on my ironing board, or to the space I use for hand work. I have a cataract that's interfering somewhat with visual clarity, and this lamp helps a lot!

So good my husband commandeered it
I bought this lamp 2 years ago for sewing and cross stitch. One evening I came home from work and found it in my husband's office. Haven't had use of it since. I have read poor reviews and am surprised by them. The base of this lamp is nice and heavy. The shade is heavy frosted, ribbed glass. a good additon to a nicely furnished room, and a perfect reading lamp. Husband has this on 14 and more hours a day and we haven't replaced the bulb yet. I am ordering another of these this week.

Love it!
I love the style and it's a nice heavy lamp so I don't worry about it tipping over. It sits perfectly behind my sofa and the light shines just where I need it to cross stitch. I could never sew without it!

This lamp doesn't look like a typical craft lamp; it is attractive and sturdy! Was very easy to assemble and throws a nice bright useful light so I can actually see while I weave. Thank you!

Gotta love this lamp
I got this as a present from my daughter and I love it. I have long wanted one of these lamps and I am not disappointed. It makes seeing what you want to see so much better. I use it behind my easy chair when I knit. I already want a portable battery operated one so when we lose electrical power I will be able to continue knitting.

If only I'd been able to assemble it!
Due to defective threadings on the base, pole A was not able to screw into the base. I tried for about an hour! I even called the manufacturer's customer service line and was advised to return the lamp. I seriously question the quality controls at the manufacturing level. I doubt if I received the only "bad one". It was also made in China, so I'm wondering about lead in the paint. I returned it yesterday and don't want a replacement, too much bad karma. I'll keep using my old one. (The replacement bulbs are very pricey so it's just as well.)

Great lamp
I really liked getting this lamp, it's well balanced, great light and looks good in the living room when I'm not using it.

Very nice
I use this lamp in my den to do my cross-stitch at night. It's attractive and very sturdy. I'm glad I got the 25W. Now my husband sits in my chair each time he wants to read something.
