Unlike the others I have read, my review is good. I have 3 pair of pinking shears and NONE of them cut as well as these do. I am used to using this type scissor from when I began sewing in large quantities. It just takes some getting use to. Keep trying, you will remember how to hold them so you don't pinch yourself.
back to productThought the Fiskar Pinking Scissrs would work better for me then traditional because of my arthritis. You need farely large hands and a lot of patience to use them. Cannot recommend them.
back to productJust got them & in testing them 'in the air,' (not cutting material) got my palm pinched repeatedly. I have a small hand and I get pinched below the index finger. My hubby has no problem as his hand is larger. A waste for me! Don't they test these with real sewists??
back to productI have a pair of garden scissors with the same premise - spring-loaded to open the handles to the maximum for most efficient cutting. However, the spring does NOT open the handles to the max and efficiency is greatly reduced. Returned the sewing scissors, unfortunatley, the garden ones were on clearance "no returns"
