Great purchase
I purchased two of these and took one to my family member for her reading room. The clearity that it gives not only colors but also reading material is wonderful. I didn't have any problem assembling these. It was a steal for the sale price.

overall good buy if yourecareful!
Bought this today at half off.Been trying to get it online but it has been sold out for several weeks. Got it home and assembled no problem, but I broke the bulb before it ever got in. There is not much room to manuver the bulb in. I bumped it on the side and the bulb broke. Now I have to buy a replacement bulb at $25 before I even get to use it!

Not very bright
I would like to start by saying that I love Ott Lites. The quality and styling of this light is wonderful. The problem is that this one is not very bright. I bought two for my home. When I received the boxes, they state "reading" on the box. These are perfect reading lamps, but they do not provide the light that the standard OttLite does. I was looking for a more stylish lamp that provided the same lighting as the standard Ott.

Great Lamp
Bought this lamp, at a Joann store, while visiting my daughter. I wanted it for working with my granddaughter on school and craft projects. Easy to put together, and works well....I think I will buy this model for myself.

Attractive and functional
I thought it was very difficult for one person to put together, but well worth it, especially since I got mine at half off. Was trying to get another on the current half off sale, but they're sold out.

Great for Scrapbooking
I purchased this lamp when it was 50% off and I love it. It was easy to put together and the lighting is great this is my second ott-lite I have a portable light as well

Great Craft Lamp
The lamp looks perfect in the living room & gives me great light for my knitting & reading. I think its a great buy.

A nice-looking Ott Lite
We like this better than we expected to. It looks fine in the living room. The head is not enormously positionable, but certainly enough to be practical. The only reason I did not rate it higher is that the bulb fell out. I think that's because the lamp stands too close to the recliner and got bumped by it several times; the bulb seemed secure enough when I put it in but it got jostled out (and broke) eventually. However, it's a nice reading/craft lamp and I'm ordering a replacement bulb without too much resentment. I'll be more careful about the lamp getting bumped repeatedly.
