Additional Information

  • contains one 16-1/2'' x 16-1/2'' frosted ruler

Keeps you sharp so you never lose your EDGE! The diamond powder edge maintains the sharpness of your rotary blade as it spins. Full see thru non skid frosting keeps the ruler from sliding and makes it light enough to see your fabric through it. A unique red grid system highlights the 1/2'' markings, use both lines to square up blocks or to cut squares effortlessly. Large numbers make for easy visibility that never blends into the fabric. Very light 1/8'' markings do not distract when using the most common 1/4'' markings.

16.5'' X 16.5'' Ruler Cuttng Edge 16 is rated 2.6667 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from At first I thought it was going to work as described but after a few cuts I now think it has dulled my blade. I can't even get it to cut a single layer. I changed blades and ran into the same trouble. I will not be using it. Also the frosting makes it difficult to see the fabric.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Edge Rulers When I first saw these I was apprehensive, but I thought I would give it a try. Blades are expensive and I live 40 miles away from the nearest JoAnns store. At first I thought it was really great, but after a few times of using the ruler my rotary cutter just kept skipping. I had to put more and more pressure to get it to cut. I was afraid that I would slip and cut myself just trying to put enough pressure on my cutter to cut the fabric. I wonder if over time this some how makes the blade smaller. I don't think I will buy any more of these rulers. They are more expensive and I just don't feel they are worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, but don't care for the frosted lucite It does sharpen dull blades but I find the the frosted aspect of the plastic nakes it difficult to see the fabric accurately. Could do without the frosted aspect.
