  • 14"x10" pc
4-1⁄2"x10" pcs for inside sleeves (2)

  • Lining print fabric:
  • 14"x10" pc
5"x10" pcs to line pocket (2)
  • Interfacing: 14"x10" pc
  1. Start with the inside sleeves of the cover. Fold one 10" side under 1/4"; stitch a finished edge. Repeat with other sleeve.
  2. Place the 2 sleeves on top of the 14"x10" lining, both RS facing up & along the left & right 10" edges. Pin & stitch outside 3 edges of the sleeves to the lining with 1/8" or zigzag stitch. Set aside.
  3. Press the 2"x2" strip of fabric in half to create a center fold guide. Unfold the fabric; press the 2 parallel edges into the center fold. Insert the end of the zipper into the fabric fold, then stitch together. Put aside.
  4. Place the lining/sleeve layer on the table RS up. Center the zipper, RS down, along the left 10" edge. Fold the exposed beginning end of the zipper out. Put a small piece of Wash Away® tape in the fold. Place a 5"x10" pocket pc. on top, RS down. Pin & stitch layers together using a zipper foot.

Place the other 5"x10" pocket piece RS down on top. Repeat the remaining steps to assemble other side of the zipper.
  7. Assemble the cover: Unzip the zipper, fold the pocket pieces out flat . Pin the outside fabric, lining & pocket pieces with RS together. Leave 4"-5" open on the opposite end of the pocket. Stitch the layers together. Clip the corners diagonally to remove bulk.
  8. Reach through the opening & pull RS out by grabbing the pocket on the other end. Use the point turner to get the corners as square as possible.
  9. While the pocket is pulled out, topstitch the remaining three sides. Push the pocket down into the zipper.
