MEGA BULKY SEED ST BLANKET

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Bernat® Mega Bulky (10.5 oz/300 g; 64 yds/58 m): Dark Grey Heather, 10 balls
  • Circular knitting needle Size U.S. S (19 mm) 36”[90 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Scissors
  • Tape measure

MEASUREMENTS:

Approx 43” x 60” [109 x 152.5 cm].

GAUGE:

4-1/2 sts and 7 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Seed St Pat.

DIRECTIONS:

Cast on 67 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
1st row: (RS). *K1. P1. Rep from * tolast st. K1.
Rep last row of Seed St Pat until all 10 balls of yarn will be used, leaving end long enough to cast off. Cast off.

Approx 50” x 56” [127 x 142 cm].

GAUGE:

8 sts and 13 rows = 4” [10 cm] in stocking stitch.

DIRECTIONS:

Note: When changing colors at the end of rows, do not break, carry color loosely up side of work.

With MC, cast on 110 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
Knit 6 rows, noting 1st row is WS.
1st row: (WS). With MC, K4. Purl to last 4 sts.
2nd row: Knit.
3rd row: As 1st row.
4th row: K4. *(K2tog) 3 times. (yo. K1) 5 times. yo. (ssk) 3 times. Repeat from * to last 4 sts. K4. Do not break MC. Join A.
