user/quilter/embroidery

I have used several other products and I have not come across any other spray adhesive that works so cleanly and is gives you the flexibility and suppleness of the patterned fabric. I have used it on projects from 108 x 90 (quilt sandwich) to 1 x 1 (lettering) with excellent results. The lettering was the most trying and the 505 worked perfectly. I especially like the way it cleans up with no residue left behind.

Best Product for Machine Embroidery Ever!

Reviewer: Konni, 02/11/2011

This is the best temporary adhesive spray I've ever used for machine embroidery. It does not gum the needle. It holds great, even if you need to move and adjust your fabric position. It washes out completely. I highly recommend this product!

Not Good for Machine Embroidery

Reviewer: Enid, 09/08/2010

My favorite temporary adhesive spray (Sulky's) is nearly impossible to find locally now, so I tried this type. I do a lot of machine embroidery, and was very disappointed. The spray volume is too high, laying down a heavy layer of adhesive that absolutely does not dissipate, nor wash off. I expect it's fine for quilting, but it will ruin silks and other fine fabrics if used for embroidery.

worth the money

only one to buy - worth the money. good by basting pins! keeps all three layers together during entire quilting process. LOVE it.

Simply the best

Tried them all and 505 is the best quilt adhesive available, but it is expensive.
