Knitting Board 60" Wide Afghan Loom is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for afghans and blankets I bought this loom mainly because I did not wish to make panels for blankets. I wanted to be able to make the entire blanket all at once, and I did not want to have to worry about uneven edges. So far this loom has been everything that I have hoped for and more. The only thing that surprised me was the small gauge of the pegs, but I was still able to get used to that. The blanket has turned out wonderfully so far. I am using a double basket stitch for the edges and a basket weave stitch for the center. The initial wrapping for the loom was a little difficult, but it became easier as I worked more of the blanket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for wide afghan I bought this after weeks of looking up reviews. I wanted to make my own decision as I think my wanting to not have to make several panels and then stitching them together outweighed the difficulty of use. I'm glad I did, as I just finished my 1st lap blanket on it and am ready to take it off the loom. It took me a few tries to figure which way to hold it and move along, but it went faster to complete a row each day I knitted. These pegs are closer together than the average round loom which makes a tighter stitch which I also liked. The pegs are secured and the loom seems very sturdy. I don't think I would be able to knit with this in the front seat on my road trips as I have short arms and am flipping it in different directions often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It!!! I bought this afghan loom a few weeks ago and I love it! I had never used a knitting loom before, and had never knitted or anything, and this loom was very easy for me to pick up on and understand. My five year old son chose yarn and I am now making him a blanket on this loom. Even for a beginner like me, I found this to be very easy and a lot of fun. My husband and son look forward to the blankets that I am making on it. I highly recommend this afghan loom to everyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from After having broken my wrist and going crazy in a cast not able to knit (thought the needles were great for getting to those cast itches!) I purchased a small loom kit as well as the afghan loom. It was pretty easy to learn and is a neat alternative to the needles. From trial and error I can tell you just to work loose. I did have one of the pegs pop out but was easy to glue back in and I have since realized I just needed to ease up on the tension. It can be tricky to get to the inside of the curves but it just makes it more enjoyable once you get through them and get to speed along on the outside edges. This device (and looms in general) have managed to keep me sane while unable to knit with the traditional needles. I'm still in recovery and looking forward to casting on some needles but plan to keep the looms around as well. I have learned a new skill to add to my arsenal of yarn slinging :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Infinity loom I saw this on another site for $50 with mixed reviews. I'm by no means new to loom knitting, but not a pro either. As a "leftie", I thought it may be hard to use. Nope. Fits on my lap, pegs have yet to pop out like some other looms can, and so far I love it. I'm making an easy blanket first. I'd give it 5 stars, but I've only had it 2 days. In time I will know if I like it more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What you see is what you get... Having used this loom for several weeks I can say that it is everything it promises. It feels very sturdy and seems well made. There are definitely many pros but some cons as well.. Pros: Really makes one large piece giving your work a cleaner look and finish thanks to the "S" shaped design. Well made and sturdy. Pegs don't pop off if loom and are spaced closer together so you can use lighter weight yarn or use single strand rather than double strands of yarn. Cons: Heavy loom. Though it is still compact for what it is, the loom is not ideal for travel.  It's size also makes for difficulty working n bed or in any position where you are holding it up in the air as you work. It is best worked on a table or some type of support.  Because if the shape and curvature if the loom, the inner row of pegs especially around the curvatures of loom are difficult to knit and may require you to tilt the loom towards you to access pegs. Difficult to explain but I found my carpal tunnel flaring up from the repeated maneuvering of the loom to get to inner rows. Overall I still think it's a great idea. Just might not be for everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST LOOM I do a good bit of loom knitting and this is the BESTof all my looms! It is extremely well made and is a very sturdy loom. It is easy to use and can produce a nice variety of projects depending upon the yarn you use. There are several videos on YouTube that are very helpful to watch BEFORE you use the loom the first time. Read all the instruction and use patience when learning how to use it and you should not have any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feature! I bought this a month ago, and right away I got started on my afghan. It took me 3 weeks to make an 40 x 60 afghan. I love this loom can't wait to start my next project (baby blanket)
