Ranger-Adirondack Alcohol Ink Blending Pen: Empty. Create a custom pen with your favorite Adirondack alcohol inks (sold separately)! With this dual tipped pen you can draw, doodle, journal, outline and color using the flexible brush tip or the fine point nib. Use on glossy and matte papers, glass, metal and plastic. This package contains one empty blending pen with an ergonomic handle and an area that can be used to label the pen with the color of contents. NOTE: Not for use with Adirondack Metallic Mixatives. Imported.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great I’ve two. One is filled with alcohol blending solution to work with my Alcohol ink dried in my pallate. The other is filled with Gamsol to work with my coloring pencils. (I just started using it with coloring pencils, and it’s been working great!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Description I love this blending pen! It's a great tool for its' purpose which is for use with blending fluid or you can use just alcohol. I am pointing this out because the description on the Joann's site says it is for alcohol inks but the package clearly states it is for filling with blending solution (which is basically alcohol) and why it is called a Blending Pen. I hope this info helps someone and/or prompts Joann's to fix the description information.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as described - still learning to use it This blending pen is an interesting addition to my alcohol-ink application tools. I use the inks on metal embossings so the application methods are different than with paper. I did find that the pen nib does retain the ink color, so after removing color it's necessary to clean the tip on a paper towel thoroughly so that it isn't carried to other areas of the art. So far I haven't found the blending pen to be of unique use on metal, but I'm still experimenting.
