Bonds quickly, almost no waiting time before going to next step
I've been using this glue a lot lately to cover boxes with decorative paper. Every square millimeter of the paper has to be glued down securely, and my projects have a lot of steps. This glue spreads easily with a tool or with a fingertip but is not at all runny. It holds securely even before it dries, which means I can move on to the next part that needs gluing.
One of the other reviews mentions the nozzle clogging with dried glue. If you just put the cap on immediately after applying the glue, this won't happen. There will probably be some buildup of glue after awhile but it doesn't stick to plastic all that well and can be picked off pretty easily with a pin or the point of a small scissores.

Great value and dependable
Great value for money. Works so well. Seven years later it is still holding. I use it all the time! I just wish it was waterproof too.

Tacky Glue is easy to work with!
Aleene's Tacky Glue makes our projects very easy to work with. It does not immediately bond so we have time to line up our edges. It dries clear and holds tight. If we make a mistake we can also soak it in a little water and it comes apart and we can fix our mistakes.

Great glue, not acid free
Despite being told many years ago, hence my massive stash of this stuff, I recently discovered that this glue is NOT acid free. The company does make an acid free version, so there’s that going for it.
The glue itself is pretty great stuff. It’s super thick and takes a bit to dry albeit much faster than you might expect such a glob to dry. I recommend it for anything you aren’t worried about lasting a lifetime (limited to use for its intended purchase). Easy cleanup.

Gets gummed up and stuck at the cap opening
This glue is absolutely awful. It gums up and gets stuck at the cap opening after ONE use. I can't use it again after I use it once. The glue dries at the cap opening and hardens making it impossible to squirt glue out. Even scissors won't cut through the plastic cap opening because of all the tacky glue stuck to the inside edges.
