Big Value Alpha Beads Are Worth It
If you are looking for pure white round beads with bold black lettering, this assortment is a good value. I have purchased many packs which I use for name bracelets and necklaces, and inspiration bracelets. The holes are a consistent size, never need extra reaming and they look good with a 6mm or 8mm bead and some kind of spacer between the letters. My last batch was a short on letter -E- so I used an engraving pencil tool and added a bottom line to the letter -F- to make more. I also turn letter -V- into letter -A- when needed, by adding a line, again with the engraving pencil and a ultra fine permanent black marker. Letters -N- and -Z- have the hole running east/west through those letters, therefore they are NOT interchangeable. The same goes for letters -M- and -W-. I prefer my M, N, W, and Z that way, so it's good for me. I recently bought some individual alphabet beads @ $ .10 each in a bead shop in Tulsa, and they were slightly smaller and off-white, not a good deal but good to support a stand alone bead shop. I'll use my coupon and get more from Joanne when I run low. I keep them in clear individual tiny bead containers that have a pop-off lid; easy to see, sort, use.

Not a great assortment
You definately will need more than one package for any real spelling projects. While I did receive at least one of each letter, M&W and N&Z are to be used interchangably and I got only 5 of each of these.
