I feel conned
I bought this fabric and made a lovely matching set of overalls for my son and a skirt for myself and after a few washings the fabric is streaked with white as if the dye is leaching out of the fabric despite following the above washing instructions. It’s enough that I will probably not buy fabric at Joanns anymore if this is the quality stock they have.

Not as pictured
This linen is very heavy. Almost canvas like, and it's more blue than yellow making it a cool tone rather than what the picture looks like. I know color can vary from screen to screen but this is totally different. Again, heavy and stiff even after a good wash/dry. There was no label in with the package and I now wonder if I was sent the wrong fabric.

Been using this for YEARS they changed the fabric to lower quality and it's not consistant from store to online. I was going to purchase 40+ yards for costumes so I purchased some at the store, and more online to compare but they sent a completely different fabric even though I used the same sku number from the sample I purchased in store.

This fabric is not linen-like at all
I bought this fabric hoping it would be a nice linen alternative. Based on the clothes they show made with this fabric, I thought it would be somewhat soft with a nice drape. This fabric does not look or feel anything like linen. It is very thick and plastic feeling, more like what you would put on outdoor cushions. This is not appropriate for any type of apparel, in my opinion. I just wasted money on this fabric as now I can't use it to make anything. I would never wear something made with this. I read the reviews and all sounded great. But now I see most of the reviews were 10-15 years ago. This product has certainly changed in that amount of time.

Be careful what you think you are ordering.
Ordered what I thought was the same thing I had purchased on a previous visit to our local store. When it arrived I found that it wasn't the same material at all. I will have to find something to do with this material because if won't match what it was intended for.

Comfy for pants
As a musician, I need black pants that look like slacks and wear like sweats. This is the perfect fabric for them: light, breathable, good drape, affordable. Pairs well with a ribbed knit for waistbands/cuff. Moderately difficult to work with due to raveling: can't be lazy with seams, and makes me wish for a serger. Cannot skip pre-washing with this one, either - bleeds pretty heavily.

Great linen look but white color disappointing.
I love Amaretto but should have believed a review I read. I bought white to make long drapes but the white has a very definite blue tone to it. Just doesn’t go with the room I was decorating. I did try to dye it and it did dye well with a synthetic dye but it came out too brownish for my liking after just 2 minutes in dye bath.

Quality product
Quality product at a reasonable price. Used this to make a business jacket and it turned out wonderfully. Everyone thinks it was store bought and/or professionally made.
