DIRECTIONS:

EARRINGS:

  1. Thread a crystal AB drop onto a headpin; finish with simple loop. Make 2.
  2. Thread 4mm bicone 8mm curved cube and 4mm bicone onto an eyepin. Finish with a simple top loop. Create 2.
  3. Use needle-nose pliers to open and close top loops on the drops to attach one to the bottom of each beaded link. Loops should be opened and closed by moving the open end to the side. Open the top loop of each beaded link to attach the complete dangle to each ball hook earring.

NECKLACE:

  1. Center dangle: cut 17-link length of chain. Use jump ring to attach one end to heart toggle. Loops should be opened and closed by moving the open end to the side, a twisting motion.
  2. Create individual dangles by threading beads onto headpin and finishing with a simple top loop. Create a top loop by trimming the pin 1/4" beyond the top bead. Bend the wire to form right angle. Use end of pliers to grasp the end of the wire and, going against the bend just made, curve wire using a twist of the wrist to roll the wire over a single prong.
  3. Make dangles of the following combinations:
Six 4mm bicone with mirror bead on top,
Nine 6mm bicone with mirror bead on top,
Teardrop with a mirror bead on top.
Attach a dangle on each link (same order as made) alternating sides down to the 14th link.
Skip the 15th link; place the teardrop dangle at the end.
  4. Cut two 14" wires. Use a crimp to attach one to each half of the toggle clasp. To use a crimp, thread on a crimp bead and the lobster clasp. Bring the wire back down through the crimp bead so there is a 1" tail. Use needle nose pliers to press the crimp flat. Test that wire is secure before threading on beads. Beads will cover the tail so there is no need to trim.
  5. Thread on both side wires:
4mm bicone, mirror, 6mm bicone, saucer, cube, saucer, 6mm bicone, mirror, 4mm bicone, 8mm crystal bicone,
4mm bicone, mirror, 6mm bicone, saucer, cube, saucer, 6mm bicone, mirror and 4mm bicone.
If necessary use a piece of tape to temporarily secure the strands.
  6. Cut 24" length of beading wire. Thread onto the center of the wire:
4mm bicone, mirror, 6mm bicone, saucer, cube, saucer, 6mm bicone, mirror, 4mm bicone, 8mm crystal bicone,
4mm bicone, mirror, 6mm bicone, saucer, cube, saucer, 6mm bicone, mirror, 4mm bicone,
8mm crystal bicone, 4mm bicone, mirror, 6mm bicone, saucer, cube, saucer, 6mm bicone, mirror, 4mm bicone.
  7. Bring the three wires together now. The 24" wire forms the top strand of the middle section. Connect the toggle; two 14" sides become the bottom wire with the Y-feature.
  8. Thread on the sides (both wires as one on each side):
8mm crystal bicone and amber set (6mm bicone, 4mm bicone, 6mm bicone, 4mm bicone and a 6mm bicone). Alternate 8mm crystal bicones and amber sets until there are 5 amber sets going up each side. Thread mirror bead on each side.
  9. Secure one end of the necklace to lobster claw clasp using a crimp bead. After threading the wire back through the crimp, go through a few beads; gently pull until there are no gaps between beads and crimp. Press crimp flat and trim excess wire. Repeat for other side of necklace, crimping to 6mm jump ring.

EMBELLISHED POUCH:

Each side has a slightly different dangle cluster.

  1. Thread 4mm bicone onto headpin; finish with a simple loop. Create top loop by trimming the pin 1/4" beyond the top bead. Bend wire to form a right angle. Use the end of pliers to grasp the end of the wire and, going against the bend just made, curve wire using a twist of the wrist to roll the wire over a single prong. Make 2 of these 4mm bicone crystal drops.
  2. Thread 6mm bicone, gold corrugated bead and 6mm bicone on headpin; finish with simple top loop.
  3. Thread 4mm bicone, gold corrugated bead and 6mm bicone onto a headpin; finish with simple top loop. Make 3 mixed drops.
  4. First dangle cluster: Cut two 19-link, two 21-link and one 14-link lengths of chain. Thread the chains on a 4mm jump ring. Loops should be opened and closed by moving the open end to the side.
  5. Thread on a 6mm jump ring: 6mm drop, 4mm ring with chains attached and a mixed drop. Attach 4mm bicone drop to the 2 longest chains in the cluster.
  6. Second dangle cluster: Cut 21-link, 20-link and 18-link lengths of chain. Thread chains on 4mm jump ring.
  7. Thread on a 6mm jump ring: a mixed drop, 4mm jump ring with chains attached and mixed drop.
  8. Open and close the 6mm jump rings to attach the clusters to each end of the pouch strings.
