Using the photo steps at right, assemble the dangles shown by threading the beads onto head pins or eye pins as required. Always open and close the loops by twisting to the side instead of pulling the loop open, this helps keep their round shape. Cut a 20" piece of wire and use a crimp bead to attach one half of the toggle clasp to one end. Thread on the metal beads and dangles as shown. Use a crimp bead to attach the second half of the toggle clasp.

Cut the pin approximately 1/4" beyond the bead. Bend the pin to form a right angle. Use the round end of your pliers to grasp the end of the pin and curve the pin by using a rolling motion to fold it over a single round prong. You may need to release the pin and continue the rolling motion again. You can convert a head pin to an eye pin by snipping off the head and replacing it with a loop as shown above.

Thread on 1 crimp bead. Slip the wire through the clasp loop and bring the end of the wire back through the crimping bead. Leave about a 1/2" tail and push the crimp snug up to the loop. Squeeze the crimp bead flat using needle nose pliers. Pull to be sure it is secure. Thread the wire back through a couple beads then snip off excess.

Amber Lace Necklace is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Necklace This necklace is very pretty and feminine. However, the instructions would be better if all components of the necklace were specifically given. This is made with the "Cousins" brand of jewelry supplies and so, for instance, the first supply item is a Cousins kit. If you can't find this it would be better if you knew exactly which items to purchase. However, the overall design is really nice and if you have some jewelry making experience you could probably figure it out so don't let that stop you from trying to make this very pretty necklace.
