ChiaoGoo - Wooden Yarn Swift. This Amish-design yarn swift is something you've just got to have! Yarn swift sits on the table top and features non-skid pads on the bottom to keep it from moving. Four adjustable pegs can easily be moved to accommodate any size hank of yarn. And it can be set up or broken down in a matter of seconds without the use of tools! Some very quick and easy assembly required. Imported.
I got this for christmas this year for my brother, and I have to say that it is the best thing that I got. It is so easy to put together, take apart, store, and use. I no longer have knots or tangles in my yarn, making it faster and easier for me to work. Awesome gift!!
Great buy, I love it.
Just got it yesterday and I love it. Easy to put together and take apart to store. Love it
I saw a similiar swift at a lys but it was wobbly and twice the cost of this one. I decided to purchase this brand and found it to be sturdier than the one at the yarn shop. It is sturdy and and made from nice wood and the best part is that it does not move when winding the yarn. I love it and and would never use any other swift. A great price as well using a Joann's 40% coupon.
Really great product. Simple to assemble and take apart, and it turns smoothly with some tension - meaning if I'm not pulling, then it won't just keep turning. Since I prefer to make my yarn pull-balls by hand, it's perfect for me. It held both 100g and 226g skeins perfectly, and it didn't move at all from the table it was standing on. Really happy!
I bought this Amish-Design swift as it was simple and could be stored well. It exceeded my expectations in quality, design, and functionality. It is easy to adapt to various size hanks of yard by moving the pins. It moves very smoothly and does stays in its exact spot while turning. One of my favorite purchases!! I would definitely recommend this to others.
I just got mine today. I had a hank of yarn, so I put the swift together and started winding. It's GREAT! It is easy to put together, easy to use, really makes winding a ball easy (you have to do the ball winding part yourself, but I don't mind that.) I should have bought one of these years ago. And I like that it comes apart and stores easily.
I recieved this yesterday, have not used yet but the quality is top notch. Pegs are way snug to put in the assorted sized slots. Am looking forward to being able to wind my own hanks of nice yarn from now on rather than having the girls at the LYS do this for me.
