Description

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 2 skeins Sensations™ Casual Boucle Yarn (A)
  • 2 skeins Patons® Beehive Baby Chunky Yarn (B)
  • Size 10 knitting needles
  • Large yarn needle
Regular instruction lists begin with 'Directions' in bold, 'Notes' are italicized and each line is double spaced by 2
tags.

DIRECTIONS: Holding one strand of A and one strand of B, cast on 33 stitches.

Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: Purl
Row 5: Knit
Row 6: Knit 3, Purl to last 3 stitches, Knit 3.
Rep rows 5 & 6 until piece measures 36" or desired length. Piece should be long enough to hang over the side of the chair arm, anchored under the chair cushion. End on WS row (purl side) Tie off B; tie on 2 strands of A.
Holding three strands of A, K11, P11, K11.
Next row: P11, K11, P11. Continue in pattern for 6".
Change to ribbing pattern K1, P1 to end for 5 rows or 1".
Cast off.
Fold A to front and, using yarn needle, sew sides together.
Stitch between knit and purl pattern to form three pockets.
Use B sewn in big stitches to highlight and accent piece as desired.
