Soft, Breathable, Waterproof "PUL" (Polyurethane Laminate) is a fabric laminated with waterproof polyurethane on the back. It is popular and effective for cloth diapers, diaper covers, bibs, diaper bags, wet bags, changing pads and more
I have been sewing cloth diapers for eight years and have never had any issues with the PUL I was using. On a whim I decided to try this brand PUL since it was more convenient to purchase at the local JoAnn store instead of having it shipping from my supplier. Because I had not used this brand of PUL before I decided to wash it before sewing to ensure it was a quality PUL that wouldn't delaminate. The print is cute, but the backing (waterproof part) has holes and has almost completely separated from the fabric! After reading further reviews online about this product, I am sad to see JoAnn stores chose to carry a product that is not the quality that cloth diapering parents need.
I bought one yard, and made a pretty large wet bag and one pocket diaper. Both have held up wonderfully for 6+ months. I love this fabric. It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the quality.
The print is super cute and the quality is excellent! This PUL is easy to sew with, not 'sticky' at all like some other PUL out there. No issues with delaminating either.
I made several wet bags with this Babyville PUL and they have completely delaminated after 2 washings. This is a very poor product.
I've been using this PUL for a long time. I really love it. I've not had any issues and I love that it hasn't faded after all the washings.
I made up some covers for my little one and they have been in my main rotation of diapers for some time now with no signs of wear or fading. LOVE the quality of this PUL and will definitely be continuing to buy more. These owls are one of my favorite prints!!
I have had nothing but good experiences with this fabric. It has withstood many washes with no ill effects, and is one of my favorite prints.
I made a pocket diaper for my little lady and it is sooooo cute. Already washed a bunch of times and holding up great. Note to self seal in dryer before first use ^-^ I think this is my favorite of the prints.
