If you are spacing your beads equal distances, I highly recommend getting spacers - takes the guesswork out. If you've never used one previously, look up a video to get the most out of this great tool before using. Note: when purchasing, have a look and make sure the two ends aren't bent or or that one isn't leaning too close to the other. (indicates a manufacturer flaw)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! I had been looking at the more expensive model of this tool, but it didn't fit my hand right nor did I want to pay upwards of $50 for the tool. I saw this one on sale at Joann.com and used a coupon to purchase it. I saved not only money but hours of time not having to hand-knot between each pearl. The knots are consistently placed and tied. It's worth buying even if you're making only one knotted piece of jewelry. I was able to make several necklaces in less than 15 minutes each once I got the hang of using the tool. If you're at all interested in the tool, get it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tool It's very user friendly. I just followed the instructions and after few attempts...I was knotting a pearl bracelet which turned out pretty good and it is much faster than doing it with tweezers. I was actually having fun doing it. It's a good product.
