Beaded Holiday Trees

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• White foam ball & tree
• Assorted green, gold & red beads
• Gold spike chain
• Gold round beads, 4mm
• Clear fishing line
• Gold paint
• Hot glue gun & glue sticks
• Flat pliers
• Cutters

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cover the white foam tree and ball with gold paint. Allow to dry.
2. Cut 1 segment of clear fishing line of 72" long, and 30 segments each 20" long.
3. Take a segment of fishing line that is 72" long, and string 4 mm gold beads along the length of it. Cover the gold foam ball with these beads, swirling around to the top, using hot glue.
4. Make a strand of beads, using a single color of bead at a time. Use the fishing line segments and string beads that will go around the tree. Use longer strands for the base and shorter strands for the top.
5. Attach the spike chain and the strands of beads in horizontal stripes, starting from the base of the tree and working up.
6. Attach the gold ball, to the top of the tree using hot glue.
