I too bought this nice yarn, "Little Sunshine" and needed another skein. Went back to get it and there is no more--not even on the Bernat web site. This should not happen.
I also made a blanket for my grandson, then my daughter, and grand daughter! Looking for other colors as well. I never got to finish my grandsons blanket, because I bought 1 skein , when I went back to Joanns they no longer had it in stock.
I absolutely love this yarn. Like others, would love to have more colors. I just found a few new colors in some of the stores, but they can't keep them in stock. I love the tri colors. More colors please!!!!
This is Fabulous I started with a baby afghan for my grad daughter and my husband insisted i make him one . He then went to work and I ended up making his friend one he had bragged at work how warm it is. Now i had to make one for all my grand children they hare 15 14 and 9.they make a great throw afghan. single stitch all the way.
re: how much 4 10.5oz is plenty as another reply suggested. I have made several large star-shaped baby afghans to use as play mats, I attach baby toys using baby links to each point, babies love them! And plenty big enough for a crib blanket, so soft, babies love the feel on their skin.
Can any of you tell me how much is needed to make a generous blanket for a crib size, crocheted?
To How Much: I used 4 Skeins of the 10.5 oz for the blankets I made for my grandkids. That should be more than enough for a crib blanket. I crochet tight and used an alternating single/double stitch which gave the blankets a popcorn look. Works up quickly.
I'm a beginner knitter, love the product, not into pastel colors;wish as alot of others for more colors.
