How To Get It
Use the Dritz 0.25'' 3Yds Knit Elastic Black for a number of fabric-based projects. The pack contains three yards of 0.25-inch-wide knit elastic made of rubber and polyester. Lightweight, soft and super strong, this curl-resistant elastic is ideal to make straps and headbands, gloves, waistbands and lots more. This knit elastic does not narrow when stretched and is also unaffected by needle-piercing. Simply insert it into casings or stitch it directly on the reverse side of fabrics. It is machine washable and dry-cleanable. Available in different colors, each sold separately.

1/4" stronger than 3/16"
I was making a dress from heavy Kenya fabric. The pattern had elastic at the shoulder. I tried 3/16" elastic, but it wasn't strong enough. The 1/4" worked better.

i love this elastic! i use it all the time. I use it to make personal clothing and its perfect for when i want some stretch but not a thick huge band like the while 1in i use aswell.
