DIY Botanical Farmhouse Wedding Favor Table with Save the Date from JOANN
Once upon a time, I thought I might become a wedding planner. I loved to throw parties and the decorations were my favorite part. The new Save the Date line at JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores has some of the best neutral and yet romantic pieces that can easily be combined for any theme wedding. I chose a few of my favorite pieces from the line to show you just how easy it is to style a favor table for a botanical farmhouse style wedding. Hi, I’m Kara from A Kailo Chic Life, and today I’ll show you how to create this fun, wedding day decor DIY.
To begin I used a lightweight ruffle throw as a table cloth to give a soft texture to the table, then I layered on the gold runner for a little glamour.
Above the table I used the Eat, Drink, and Be Married sign to play on the farmhouse look. Around the sign, I hung simple gold and faux succulent macrame hoops. To make your own simply hot glue faux succulents and greenery to one section of a gold macrame hoop to create an asymmetric arrangement.
For the table itself, I included a simple assortment of battery operated candles and votives and a bouquet of flowers in one of JOANN Stores many gold and glass terrarium vases.
The final piece of the wedding favor table were these adorable black, white, and gold confetti push pops for guests to use to spray the married couple with a sprinkling of confetti and perfect gold foiled thank you treat bags for each guest to take home.
As you can see, the Save the Date line is the perfect way to DIY a little bit of your big day! Each piece is neutral enough that they can be used for a variety of wedding themes. So, what does your dream wedding look like?
