DIY Cricut Foil Paper Christmas Card
Hello there I am Jen and I am here visiting from Craft-O-Maniac. It is not too late to get Christmas cards in the mail before the New Year. I love to make Christmas cards for my parents, siblings, and in-laws. Today, I am sharing how I made this darling “I’ll be Home For Christmas” Christmas card. I used my amazing Cricut Explore Air and some beautiful Cricut foil peel and stick paper. The cartridge I used for this project is the “To You From Me” cartridge. It has a ton of packages/boxes and other great cuts for you to play and get creative with.
Below, you will see in my picture’s step by step directions on how I created this card. It’s pretty easy. You’ll just upload your cartridge to you Cricut Design space, select the cartridge, then select the image, size it, and hit Go. Cut, peel off the mat, peel your sticker backing paper off, and add it to your paper. Cut your other papers to the size you want to fit your envelope and with a glue stick, glue your papers together. I cut out a little round circle, cut out the center and then cut little slits around the out edge to create a wreath for the front door. I also used a tiny eyelet setter tool to get the tiny round dots for berries. I glued the berry dots and wreath onto the door with a glue stick. On the back side, I cut a piece of white card-stock to write a message.
Christmas cards are my favorite part of the holiday. I think there are nothing more special than receiving Christmas cards, especially handmade ones. My Cricut makes it so easy to create all kinds of festive cards and other awesome stuff.
I wish a very Merry Christmas and good tidings to you all.
