First, you’ll cut out the words “Treat Yo’Self!” using your Cricut Explore Air 2 and whatever color cardstock you’d like. You’ll do this by adding the letters of the words to the Cricut Design Space. You’ll also cut out some candy shapes, gumdrop shapes, and peppermint swirl candies using this same technique.

After your pieces are cut, assemble all your pieces for the candies and glue them together with your glue stick.

You’ll then stick them onto your wall behind your bar cart to create a backdrop. You’ll also decorate your bar cart with tinsel and candy canes.

I also inflated some large inflatable candy canes and decorated a small tinsel tree with some gumdrop candy ornaments and garlands to give it even more of a holiday tasty treats feel!

If you don’t have a Cricut machine, you can buy already made decorations that are similar and decorate the wall that way as well. However, you decide to decorate your bar cart will be fine.

After the decorations are made, you’ll move onto making your desserts. First, I made some meringue pops and meringue ginger snap cookies.

I used this Meringue recipe to make the pops and the small cookie meringues. I created large circle meringues for the pops and small circles for the cookies. Using melted white chocolate melts, I stuck the large meringues onto large Popsicle sticks, which I hand stamped with festive holiday stamps.

For the small ginger snap cookies, I stuck them onto the ginger snap cookies with some melted white chocolate melts as well.

I then made some mini festive sugar cookies using this Sugar Cookie and Icing recipe. You can make them and decorate your cookies however you’d like.

I made some chocolate brownies using this Brownie recipe and covered them in holiday sprinkles.

With the leftover brownie mix I had, I made some hybrid brownie and madeleine bites. I used this Madeleine recipe and rolled both mixes together to create little balls. I then pressed the balls into in this Wilton Mini Muffin Pan and baked them. I added some holiday sprinkles to them as well.

And last but not least, if you don’t feel like baking, you can find lots of amazing holiday cookies for your dessert bar in your local grocery store like I found this peppermint covered chocolate cookies.

Be sure to place some small plates, napkins, and some to-go treat containers on the bar cart for your guests. This will help them have something to take some treats to go if they’d like to.
