Let’s Make Them!

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and coat a 9X13 baking pan with cooking spray.

2. With an electric mixer, beat the cake mix, pudding, water, oil and eggs for 2 – 3 min. You Can also just follow the directions on the back of your cake mix box.

4. Pour the batter into a cake pan and bake for 35-40 min. Check to make sure your cake is done all the way by inserting a toothpick into the center and pulling it out. If it comes out clean. You cake it done. Be sure to let cool for around 30 minutes.

5. Once cooled, break up the cake with your hands and put it in your electric mixer bowl.

6. Add about ½ cup of frosting and start mixing the two together. Continue to add about ½ cup of frosting at a time until it is fully mixed, moist and can be formed like a dough.

7. Take a tablespoon and scoop a small amount of the cake, frosting mixture. Roll into a ball and put it on a wax paper covered cookie sheet. Refrigerate these for an hour.

8. Melt candy melts in 3 separate deep bowls in the microwave, 1 at a time. Microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until the melts are smooth.

9. Remove the pops from the refrigerator and get them ready to decorate! Dip your lollipop sticks into the candy melt and insert them into each of your cake balls. This will make sure the stick stays in place and the balls don’t fall off the sticks when you are dipping them.

This cake pop decorating stand totally doubles as a cake pop display too, so it is ready to be displayed at your party or Valentine’s celebration.

For a more lovely look, take a nice vase or decorated mason jar, and use floral foam inside of it. Stick your cake pops in it and cover it with paper shred, tissue paper or whatever you choose, to lovely up your display.
