Foil Christmas Clutch and Free Cricut SVG

Foil embellished crafts have been all the rage for a good while. Well, guess what?! Cricut now has foil iron-on in 12 colors at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores and it’s beautiful. Hi! I’m Kim Byers of The Celebration Shoppe. Let’s get crafty and I’ll teach you how to make a personalized foil Christmas clutch, or two, in just minutes! First, hop over to your local Jo-Ann for a few supplies.

I made this Believe clutch for me. I’m a big kid and Christmas is my absolute favorite season! To make one too, you’ll need:
Cricut Foil Red iron-on
Cricut Foil Pewter iron-on
Cricut Explore Air 2
Cricut Weeding Tool
Cricut Standard Cutting Mat
Iron & Pad
Ruler
• Clutch
Design Space + Design Available Dec. 1

Easy instructions:
1. Measure – determine how big your clutch is and size your design.

2. Cut & Weed – open Design Space, search “Believe,” insert image, and size your project. Send each layer to your mat and weed each piece of the design. Remember to select “iron-on” in the final screen so that it flips your design. You don’t want it to read backward! If you’d like to use the monogram, this font is a design, not a font. Search “monogram” in images.

3. Apply iron-on – lay the iron-on in place on the clutch, measure to make sure you design is centered, and iron. (Tip: Turn the “steam” feature off on your iron or it could bubble your design.)

Now let’s make a dashing clutch! I made this design as a little gift for my aunt who absolutely loves to shop. You’ll need several of the same items, but we’re going to change colors up and you’ll want to download my free SVG file:

Cricut Foil Pewter iron-on
Cricut Explore Air 2
Cricut Weeding Tool
Cricut Standard Cutting Mat
Iron & Pad
Ruler
