Thanksgiving Tablescape

The only thing standing between you and an awesome Thanksgiving table is …wait for it…paper. Yep. Paper.

Recently, I started using colorful paper embellishments to decorate my holiday table and I love it! It’s easy to create and even easier to clean up. For this Thanksgiving table, I shopped the aisles of JOANN for colorful autumn paper crafting supplies that would bring my table to life.

I started with a base of wrapping paper using the DCWV Project Roll in Greek Key.

I love the modern pattern featuring muted fall shades. From there, I built up a modern, fall tablescape with metallic paper monster leaves, paper wrapped candles and a lush garland using faux florals and paper feathers. Here are a few tips so you can easily replicate this look!

JOANN carries an awesome variety of metallic cardstock which I used with my Cricut Maker to assemble these oversized monster leaves that are perfect for a placemat.

For the faux floral garland, select a few bunches of faux greenery. Then, use a wire cutter to cut off the leafy stems. Next, simply arrange the leafy bunches along your table, then add in colorful paper feathers. Again, I used my Cricut Maker to cut the feather shapes from bold shades of cardstock.

Finish off your table with candles wrapped in metallic paper. This brings the entire look together…and candles make everything more polished!
