Description

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Dyed Imperial jasper round 10mm
  • Green mix shiny glass 6x8mm round rondel
  • Tone stone beads
  • Pink 4mm round
  • Jewelry making tools
  • Tiger tail
  • Jewelry wire
  • 3-strand clasp
  • Crimp beads

DIRECTIONS:

1. Attach a 22" length of tiger tail to the inner loop on a 3-strand clasp with 1 crimp bead. Be certain to enclose the short end of the wire within the first several beads.
2. Thread as follows: A B A B A B A B A B A B A B A B A B A B A B C B A B C B A B C B A B C B A B C B A B C B A. Then, reversing pattern from first side, complete strands by placing 1 crimp and at least 5 beads along the strand.
3. Tighten the beads so they sit securely together without being too tight; flatten the crimps and clip excess wire to close the beads.
4. Attach a 22" length of tiger tail to the center loop as in step 1 and thread as follows: D B. Repeat 31 times. Complete the strands by placing 1 crimp bead on the end of the wire and threading the wire through the corresponding loop on the other side of clasp. Reverse the wire, threading it back through crimp and several beads along the strand.
5. On the third 22" length of tiger tail, place 1 crimp on the end and crimp on the loops along with several beads. Then thread 3D as follows: B A B D B A B D. Repeat 12 times, then string B A B and 3D.
6. Place 1 crimp bead on the ends of each wire and thread the wire through the outer loops of the clasp. Reverse the wires and thread back through crimps and several beads along the strand.
7. Tighten the beads so that they sit securely together without being too tight; flatten the crimp and clip excess wire to close to the beads.

  • Crimp beads
  • Jewelry wire

DIRECTIONS:

1. Attach a 9" length of tiger tail to a jump ring using 1 crimp beads be certain to enclose the short end of the wire within the first several beads.
2. Thread as follows: B A B A. Repeat 10 times
3. Place a crimp bead on the wire and thread the wire through the jump ring of the clasp. Reverse the wire and thread back through crimp and several beads along the strand.
4. Attach a 9" length of tiger tail to a jump ring using 1 crimp bead. Enclose the short end of the wire within the first several beads.
5. Threads as follows: B A B D B A B D. Repeat 4 times. To close, reverse same way as previous.
6. For the third strand, attach a 9" length of tiger tail to a jump ring using 1 crimp bead. Enclose the short end of the wire within the first several beads.
7. Thread as follows: B A B A. Repeat 9 times and end on B.
8. Tighten the beads so that they secure together without being too tight; flatten the crimps and clip excess wire close to the beads.
9. To finish, attach all three jump rings to one jump ring with lobster clasp. Reverse the other side.

  • Lobster clasp

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut 6" of tiger tail and thread as follows: D D B D A D B D A D B D D. Put the tiger tail together as one. String B D and 1 clam shell with 1 crimp inside, cut the excess wire and close securely.

2. Place an A on an eye pin and attach to the loop on an earring finding using a simple loop. Close securely and attach to the lobster claps.
