How To Get It
The Dritz Water-soluble Marking Pencil - Blue is great for use with most washable fabrics. Always test on a piece of fabric first to make sure marks remove to your satisfaction. Do not make heavy marks and use the lightest marks possible so removing them is easier. Marks from this pencil can be easily removed using a damp cloth.

Can’t sharpen to fat.
Biught this awhile ago and used it to mark some fabric, but when I went to sharpen it was way to fat for any pencil sharpener hand or electric. What a waste.

It's an okay pencil. You get what you pay for. Mine arrived bent. The packaging was fine, so it must have been manufactured like that. Does require some pressure to leave a good mark, which leads to lots of breaking & sharpening since it's soft.

It's just "okay"...
This is nothing like the one I had in my sewing box. Difficult to mark fabric without having to re-do and press down. Would have preferred it to be a bit chalky to what this product has. The pro: it is water soluble. Will not purchase again.

Is NOT water soluble
Used this for my most recent quilt - on yellow fabric. I should’ve known better than to not test it on a scrap first, but I didn't. Upon washing my finished quilt, it turned an ugly green and was very much still there. It took three washes and a LOT of stain remover, scrubbing, and soaking to get the pencil out. Don’t make my mistake, buy a different pencil!

Too fat for a sharpener
This would be a good marking pencil, except I don't have a sharpener that is big enough to give it a new point! I need a better sharpener, since the electric one I had as a teacher only sharpens one size and this isn't it. It marked well until it wore out the point.
