DESCRIPTION +

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Wrights letters & numbers
  • Scissors
  • Fabric glue
  • Ponytail holders
  • Common pins
  • Measuring tape
  • Needle & thread
  • Ribbons
  • Yarn for pompom

DIRECTIONS:

Project #1
1. Choose a variety of satin, grosgrain, sheer and novelty ribbons ranging in widths from 3/8” to 1-1/2”.
2. Cut ends of ribbons on the diagonal or notch to prevent from fraying. Measure: choose final length and add 3” for knot. Choose letters and follow manufacturer’s instructions to adhere.

Project #2
1. Leaving a 6” tail fold both 3/8” ribbons back and forth to form a bow (see step one) and tie with ribbon tightly.
2. Notch ends of tail ribbon and fold in half, slip in pony tail holder (see step two).
3. Slip in bow and glue down both bow and pony tail holder.
4. Attach letters according to manufacturer’s instructions
5. Make pom pom and glue in place.

Project #3
1. Cut lengths for bow in 13-1/2” pieces.
2. Fold ends of each piece to the center and glue in place (step one).
3. Build bow (see step two).
4. Fold over tail ribbons and slip on pony tail holder (step three).
5. Apply letters according to manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Glue pom pom to center of bow.
7. Glue bow onto top of tail ribbons.
8. Notch ends of tail ribbon and fold in half, slip in pony tail holder (see step two).
9. Slip in bow and glue down both bow and pony tail holder.
10. Attach letters according to manufacturer’s instructions.
11. Make pom pom and glue in place.

Project #4
1. Cut 1/2 yd. length off the 2 yds. of ribbon.
2. Fold over in a criss cross with the coordinating ribbon (see step one).
3. Fold remaining ribbon back and forth to form back bow.
4. Place smaller bow on top of big bow and tie with narrow ribbon (slipping on pony tail holder before tying knot) (see step two).
5. Attach letters according to manufacturer’s instructions.
