About 6-1/2"x8", after seaming
3 1/2 reps (5-dc groups) + 10 rows = about 4" in pattern.
BE SURE TO CHECK GAUGE. When matching the gauge in a pattern, the project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes fewer stitches and rows to make a 4" square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

1. Clutch is worked back and forth in rows to make flat rectangle.
2. A fabric lining is sewed in, then piece is folded and seamed to make the Clutch.

Weave in ends.
Press 1/2" along all 4 sides of fabric piece to WS. With WS together, center fabric onto crochet piece. Baste or pin in place. With sewing needle and thread, whipstitch fabric piece to crochet piece.
With lined side of piece facing, fold up lower edge for 4" to make body of Clutch. Seam sides of body.
With sewing needle and thread, sew one half of snap, centered, on lining side of upper edge of Clutch.
Fold upper edge over to make flap. Lift edge of flap carefully and insert a pin into the front of the Clutch body to mark placement of the remaining half of snap.
With sewing needle and thread, sew snap in place, making sure to sew only through the front of the body.
Tie ribbon into a bow. With sewing needle and thread, sew bow and charms to center front of flap.
