However, I encountered several issues: 1) I ran out of six colors of floss; 2) The backstitching details are not always easy to read; and 3) In several stockings the graph does not match the item pictured (for example, a missing pine cone or different color). I found myself constantly referring to the pictures, which was most frustrating. I did not realize that these were 2-dimensional cardboard stockings (as opposed to the real thing), so I altered the finishing instructions to convert them into real stockings. In doing so, however, bits of the borders and toes were lost. The most disappointing kit I have ever purchased...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute but frustrating It is a very cute idea, but its a real pain to sort the floss out, you have to cut the fabric into the correct sizes urself. also i donno if this happened to anyone else but it says gold plated needle on the package however it wasnt a gold plates needle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from mini stocking ornaments I completed 30 stocking ornaments, gave away 18 and kept 12 for myself because they are so cute. Instead of the glue and cardboard finish that gives you a one dimentional stocking, I purchased extra felt to stitch on a back and create real stockings, very easy since they are so small. The designs are easy and fast to finish, but you definitely needed more of several colors of thread, always save your extra thread from other kits!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value I thought this was a really good deal. The designs are really pretty. I didn't find the stitching directions too small or hard to understand. It does come with quite a bit of different colors, but then again there are 30 different stockings. The one thing I didn't realize was that you will have to cut the aida cloth and the red felt and sew together after you are done. Not a huge deal, I just didn't realize I would be doing this. Overall, I definitely think it's worth it. And because you can buy more felt and aida cloth you could make the designs over and over.
