Rated 4 out of 5 by lucispampered from Calculating Yardage for a Duvet Cover Thank you for this guide! I was trying to figure this out on my own and just knew I would mess up. For those complaining about "instructions" for making a duvet... please note this is a guide for CALCULATING YARDAGE needed, not instructions for making one. There are instructions for making one, just look for it. ;=]

Rated 5 out of 5 by wingwisp from just what I was looking for I searched the net, and this was just what I was looking for. How to calculate the yardage needed to make a duvet. I have used duvets for years, but now want to make my own, and plan to do an art/quilt type top. Thank you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from should be simpler I was looking for a simple guide as to what is usually needed for a standard king size duvet, queen, full, etc. All King size beds are a standard size so why not just give us a general number of yards needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tamara from Calculating Yardage for Duvet Great directions for calculating yardage. Those that are complaining about there being no directions for sewing a duvet cover shouldn't. This is only for figuring the yardage NOT sewing it.

Rated 0 out of 5 by Beth from Found other Jo-Ann directions... Jo-Ann's project #PD00157 looks like it could be easier (no cording on the edges) and actually has directions for cutting & sewing. Imagine that! ;)

Rated 2 out of 5 by KAREN from NO INSTRUCTIONS! It looks like a great project, but there are no instructions. How did one width of fabric cover the whole thing? Is there an opening? Need some directions!
