Description

Gumdrop Wreath Gift Box
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Gumdrops and gumdrop rings
  • Paper mache box
  • Cardstock, green patterned
  • Ribbon, red and white striped
  • Green paint
  • 1/2" flat brush
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Paper trimmer
  • Corner rounder punch
  • Computer, to generate message
  • Hot glue & glue gun
  • Glue stick
  • Double-sided tape

DIRECTIONS:
1. Paint box green. Trace the lid onto the back of green cardstock and cut slightly smaller. Round the corners and print message in the center. Alternatively, print message on a circle of green cardstock, to be placed at the center of the gumdrop wreath.
2. Glue the green cardstock, with message, to the lid with a glue stick.
3. Apply double-sided tape to the striped ribbon and wrap around the box.
4. Hot glue gumdrop/gumdrop ring units to the top of the lid in a circle.
5. Cut 3 holly leaves from green paper and outline with black marker. Attach at the top of the box, near the edge of the gumdrop wreath.
6. Tie striped ribbon into a knot, trim ends and attach over the holly leaves.

Gift Box with Candy Cane Hearts
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Candy canes
  • Paper mache box
  • Cardstock, red textured and green patterned
  • Ribbon, striped and dots
  • Red paint
  • 1/2" flat brush
  • Scissors
  • Scallop shears
  • Zots™ adhesive dots, large
  • Hot glue & glue gun
  • Glue stick
  • Heart template
  • Ruler
  • Paper trimmer

DIRECTIONS:
1. Paint box red. Scallop-cut panels of red textured paper slightly smaller than all box surfaces and glue to surfaces with glue stick.
2. Tie striped ribbon around box and tie into a bow. Tie dot ribbon around the knot of the striped ribbon bow.
3. Position 2 candy canes in a heart shape, on paper, and draw a rough outline around them. Make a slightly larger pattern, trace it on the back of green cardstock, and cut out with scallop shears. Hot glue the candy canes to the cardstock.
4. Attach two hearts to the dot ribbon with Zots™ adhesive dots, and the third heart to the striped ribbon bow with hot glue.

Green Edible Trees Gift Box
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Green edible trees
  • Paper mache box
  • Cardstock: green textured, white, red
  • Red striped ribbon
  • Red rhinestones
  • Glue stick
  • Double-sided tape
  • Scissors
  • Zots™ adhesive dots, large
  • Black pen, or computer

DIRECTIONS:
1. Cover box and lid with green textured paper, adhering with glue stick.
2. Apply double-sided tape to striped ribbon and wrap around the rim of the lid. Wrap another strip of ribbon across the top of the lid, lengthwise.
3. Create a mounted tag using red and white cardstock and black pen or computer.
4. Embellish the box with edible trees. Embellish the tag with edible trees and red rhinestones.
5. Tie a bow of striped ribbon and attach it and the tag to the box with Zots™ adhesive dots.
