I enjoy this yarn, even when coming across knot or splits. What I do it cut away that part and continue on. What I find comfy for holding skein is a wine cooler container. It has a cover attached and a cord handle - I slip the skein into the container and knit/crochet. When traveling, the cover is put on, after I put in the pattern and cable needle, small scissors, and extra stitch markers. The item being knit is put into a tote and even the cooler will fit. Off I go. Thank you, Caron - Thank you, JoAnn. All 4s because anything can be better - but my constant purchasing of this yarn must mean I like it - a lot.
I love the feel of this yarn in my hands as I work with it. It's so soft - working with it is a pleasure. After making several prayer shawls from it, I wanted to make something bigger - so I made myself a queen-size blanket for my bed. Warm! And prettier than anything in the stores. :)
I just wanted to say that this is my favorite yarn of all times. I love the color selection (please do not discontinue the blackberry!). I am content with the 6 oz. & Blackberry is my favorite color. So soft!!
This is one of my favorite yarns. It has a beautiful sheen, almost like silk and it's so soft. I haven't had any problems with it fraying or being frizzy. Just be sure to unwind it from the outside. I wish it came in more colors though. I used Pistachio and Blueberry to make a pillow and afghan and it turned out great! Looks like beach glass.
I've made a couple afgans in this yarn... It is fairly stretchable yarn so the loose afgan stretched out a lot. But the one I made with a tight (no holes) pattern was absolutely beautiful! And it washed up soooo nice. I'm getting ready to make another since it makes such a nice soft couch blanket.
So soft, such pretty colors, terrific price, but now I have a huge section in the front of my daughters sweater that looks like it was chewed by a machine. Totally stripped and fuzzy. I will have to cut it out and pick it up again. Very disappointing. Also binds up on itself too easily. If I wasn't o close to being finishes, I would ditch this yarn and do over in something else.
I really like this yarn simply soft. I have use this yarn for over 5 years and have not had any problems with it. It is as it says simplt soft.
I love this yarn. I have never had it get fuzzy and look worn. It washed up nice and does not shrink. However I do buy it online as it is usually cheaper than Joann's
