The super soft Simply Soft yarn is lighter, sport weight. Perfect for baby items, socks, shawls, and super comfy afghans
Why do they stop carrying these at their stores??????
I am new at crocheting. A friend gave me enough to try a scarf with this and now I use it for baby blankets for Children's Hospital. They are soft, cuddly, the yard handles well and I am proud of my donations. (Only a few colors in the store - more choice on line).
I have had to purchase this yarn from other companies. a lot of the money going for shipping. I am very satisfied with the yarn. but i had hoped that jo anns would have this available in their stores.thus i could by more because the shipping wouldn't matter. Imagin that when i went to the store on colraine(cincinnati) they did not have it. gas wasted. the online ad did not say it was an online only yarn. what gives??? evern caron says jo anns should have it . and that was a good 2 months ago.
The yarn names says it all. I am grandmother using it for baby large baby blankets...very soft yet holds shape well for larger crocheted blankets. Lots of compliments on the Key Lime color - not a mint green & yet not neon. Going to work with soft Butter yellow next. Had tried several yarns & not been happy w/ any but now have found soft thread I was searching for at a reasonable price. Have not seen it washed yet but label says machine wash & dry. Crochet hook does split thread sometimes so maybe not the best for a beginner but not a major problem
