Additional Information

CARON-Tulip Etimo Crochet Hooks. Doris Chan says it best: The biggest advantage of the ETIMO hook is the elastomeric comfort grip. It is revolutionary, supremely comfortable, functional, and durable. It has a soft, smooth, cushy feel and fits perfectly in my hand. She never wants to be without hers. Plus Etimo hooks are made from durable superior quality aluminum with a polished finish that does not flake or chip. Even better, the handle's length and depth of the hook itself make stitching easier, too. The result is a crocheter's dream that allows longer stitching with more accuracy and greater comfort. Imported.

Caron Tulip Etimo Crochet Hook-Size 7 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mini comparison 4 hooks I bought four, size 7 (4.5 mm), crochet hooks: one each clover-amour, clover soft touch, etimo tulip pink, and etimo tulip grey. My favorite is the etimo tulip grey. There is a difference in metal between the etimo pink and etimo grey. The coating on the yellow metal ( grey handle) is noticeably slicker/smoother than the white metal on the etimo pink. Other than that the tulip hooks appear very similar --if not identical. The clover soft touch is not comfortable to use. It's too wide. I liked the clover-amour. These hooks are comparable to etimo pink--but without the thumb rest. I bought a complete set of etimo tulip grey. Very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great These are the only crochet hooks to have.  I have a collection of over 50 hooks and will NOT use anything but these.  The handles are soft but still firm feeling well balanced in my hand. The metal shaft and hook part is so very smooth with the head contoured just right.  They are a joy to use and makes me want to crochet more.  I wish they would find a way to make them in sizes larger than J. Splurging when they go on sale, I finally have a full set!  Worth every penny I've spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hook I am a new crocheter and I make mostly preemie hats and I fel in love with these hooks. I have the G, H, I, and J hooks and love them. I thought it would be more of a cushy soft grip, but it isn't which is actually good. My hands don't cramp with these either. The yarn glides very nicely and does not catch. The price is a bit high though since other hooks go for only a couple dollars. These would make great gifts too since they are more of a luxury hook.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hands that cramp or are older than most! Bought this hook and am so happy with my hand not cramping as I crochet. I have been crocheting for over 60 years and have problems with my old hooks with cramping, thus I crochet less. Saw ad for the Caron crochet hook and thought I would give it a try. I am so glad that I did! I can now crochet for longer periods of time due to the comfort of the Caron hook. I will surely buy more of them for my comfort and would recommend them to anyone who crochets young or old!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great but expensive! I bought two of these hooks to try out and i like them a lot. I usually prefer the Susan Bates shape and finish to the Boye shape and these hooks have a somewhat in-between shape and a great smooth finish. The handle is nice, just slightly soft and comfortable to hold. It is obvious that they are very high quality. I would buy a whole set but they are very pricey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A crocheter's best friend I've been using tulip hooks for about 2 years now and I absolutely love them!! They feel firm and velvety against your fingertips and glide effortlessly through yarn!
