Handy Tool

Chalk wheel
I like using them, but they only last so long. Previous one, the wheel binded up. The store doesn’t carry refill cartridges…but these work good, using a soft hand on the fabric, unlike the pen il ones which the lead/ chalk is to hard to mark the fabric…

It works great !! But remove the cap first.
If your wheel is not dispensing chalk, make sure that you have removed the cap on the chalk cartridge. Pull out the chalk cartridge-(you've got to tug pretty hard)--and remove the cap from the chalk cartridge, then re-insert the cartridge. (Use a small pliers to pull the cap off if necessary). The chalk should dispense in a nice fine line !!

I love this wheel. It wipes away easy, shows up on dark colors, have used for years. Only downfall is not offering just the chalk refills. So wasteful and annoying to rebuy the wheel each time!

Having a chalk wheel makes layout so much easier. Brushes away easily when you’re done, but provides great guidelines for matching pieces properly.
