SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Jolee's Jewels:
    • 11 domed flowers sliders, Lt Amethyst
    • 1 set crystal magnetic closure square
    • Six 6mm bicone beads, Purple Velvet
    • 12 each, 4mm bicone beads: Fuchsia, Lt Amethyst
    • 64 pcs 4mm Crystal AB bicone beads
  • 40" flexible jewelry wire
  • 8 crimp beads
  • Pliers: chain-nose, round-nose
  • Wire cutters

DIRECTIONS:

Refer to photo.

  1. Lay out slider units in the checkerboard pattern.
  2. Attach two 10" stringing wires on the center loop and one stringing wire on each end loop of the magnetic closure with a 10" piece of stringing wire. Use a crimp bead to secure.
  3. Thread six 4mm Crystal AB on the two center stringing wire. Pass the one wire through the bottom hole of the top slider and the other wire through the top hole of the bottom slider.
  4. Thread seven 4mm Crystal AB onto the top and bottom stringing wires.
  5. Pass the top stringing wire through the hole of the top slider.
  6. Pass the bottom stringing wire through the hole of the bottom slider.
  7. Thread one 4mm Crystal AB, onto each of the center stringing wires. Thread the slider on. Thread another 4mm Crystal AB on to the center stringing wires.
  8. Thread one 4mm Lt Amethyst, Fuchsia, one 6mm Purple Velvet, 4mm Fuchsia, Lt Amethyst on to each top and bottom wire.
  9. Repeat steps 5 through 8 to thread all bicone beads and sliders on to the wire.
  10. Thread another six 4mm Crystal AB on to each center stringing wire. Thread seven 4mm Crystal AB on each top and bottom stringing wires.
  11. Attach the wires to the other end of the magnetic closure. Use a crimp to close. To finish, test crimps for security. Trim free wire ends.
