  • 5-ft Velcro® brand Fabric Fusion™
  • 1¾ yd 1/2" thick bonded batting
  • Thread

  • Iron and ironing surface


Fabric – 60"x44"
Velcro® brand Fabric Fusion™ – three 3"xWOF
Lining – 60"x44"
Batting – 60"x44"

Use 1/2" seam allowance. WOF = width of fabric. RS = right side(s). WS = wrong side(s).
1. For Velcro® brand Fabric Fusion™, sew the ends of 3"xWOF together into one long piece.
2. From this, cut 2 pieces 21" long and 2 pieces 44" long.
3. With RS together, fold the ends of each piece, sew, then turn RS out and press into strips 1½" wide.
4. Follow manufacturer’s directions and adhere Velcro® brand Fabric Fusion™ to one side of each strip close to folded edge.
5. Beginning 1" from each bottom corner with RS together, place Velcro® brand fastener strips along bottom and sides of bag fabric. Baste in place.
6. Baste batting to WS of bag.
7. With RS together, sew bag and lining around all edges, leaving an opening in top edge for turning.
8. Trim batting close to stitching.
9. Clip corners and turn RS out.
10. Slip stitch opening closed.
11. On inside, mark center of bag from top to bottom, then stitch along marked line.

1. Square cut ends of 3 yd lengths of fabric and lining.
2. Lay fabric and lining RS together and trim salvages as needed to make both pieces even.
3. Sew around all edges, leaving an opening in bottom edge for turning.
4. Clip corners and turn RS out.
5. Press and slip stitch opening closed.
6. Edge stitch all around.
7. Suspend curtain rod approximately 4-ft from the floor and drape tent over rod.
