NECKLACE
1. Using eye pins, build (8) links using the following beads, in this order: 4mm orange mirror bicone, 6mm copper rondelle, 4mm green mirror bicone, 13 x 16mm brown acrylic oval, 4mm green mirror bicone, 6mm copper rondelle, and a 4mm orange mirror bicone. Finish eye pins with a loop, taking care to line up the “holes” in the eyes on each end. Create (9) lengths of chain with 5 links in each length of chain. Beginning with one length of chain, open the link on one end and connect it to the end of one beaded link. Continue until all beaded links are connected to the chains. Strands will begin and end with a length of chain. Set strand aside.

Finish eye pins with a loop, taking care to line up the “holes” in the eyes on each end. Open chain links to create (10) lengths of chain with 5 links in each length. Beginning with one length of chain, open the link on one end and connect it to the end of one beaded link. Continue until all beaded links are connected to the chains. Strands will begin and end with a length of chain. Set strand aside.
3. Using eye pins, build (9) links using the following beads, in this order: 4mm green mirror bicone, 6mm copper rondelle, 4mm orange mirror bicone, 8mm matte brown pearl, 4mm orange mirror bicone, 6mm copper rondelle, and a 4mm green mirror bicone.
4. Cut a 28” length of beading wire. String on beads in the following order: (1) 4mm green mirror bicone, (1) 6mm copper rondelle, (1) 4mm orange mirror bicone, (1) 6mm copper rondelle, (1) 4mm green mirror bicone, (1) 6mm copper rondelle, (1) 4mm orange mirror bicone, etc. to a length of approximately 23-1/4". Slide on a copper crimp tube. Crimp the end of the completed strand onto a 6mm jump ring. Crimp the other end onto another 6mm jump ring. Set strand aside.
5. Cut another 28" length of beading wire. String on beads in the following order: (1) 4mm green mirror bicone, (2) 4mm orange mirror bicones, (1) 6mm copper rondelle, (2) 4mm orange bicone, (1) 4mm green mirror bicone, (1) 8mm matte ecru pearl, (1) 4mm orange bicone, (1) 8mm matte ecru pearl, (1) 4mm orange mirror bicone, (1) 8mm matte ecru pearl, (1) 4mm green mirror bicone, (2) 4mm orange mirror bicones, (1) 6mm copper rondelle, (2) 4mm green mirror bicones, (1) 4mm orange mirror bicone, (2) 4mm green mirror bicones, (1) 6mm copper rondelle, (2) 4mm green mirror bicones, (1) 4mm orange mirror bicone, (1) 8mm matte ecru pearl, (1) 4mm green mirror bicone, (1) 8mm matte ecru pearl, (1) 4mm green mirror bicone, (1) 8mm matte ecru pearl, (1) 4mm orange mirror bicone, (2) 4mm green bicones, (1) 6mm copper rondelle, etc….. repeat pattern until your strand reaches approximately 24 ¼”. (The strand should finish by mirroring the order of beads you started with at the beginning of the strand. ) Slide on a copper crimp tube. Crimp the end of the completed strand onto a 6mm jump ring. Crimp the other end onto another 6mm jump ring. Set strand aside.
6. Line completed strands above in the following order: strand from step #2, strand from step #4, strand from step #1, strand from step #5, and the strand from step #3.
7. Open a single link of chain. Slide one end of each strand onto the open link, in the order you lined them up in step #6 above. Close the link.
8. Open another link of chain and close it onto the top side of the strands you added onto the previous link in step #7 above. Using a 4mm copper jump ring, attach a copper lobster claw clasp to that chain link.
9. Lie your strands back down side by side, in the order you attached them to the chain link in step #7 above. Separate them into 3 sections: the first 2 strands, the middle strand, and the last two strands. Braid these three sections together, finishing your braid with the sections in the same order they were when you started.
10. Open another single link of chain. Slide the ends of these strands onto the link, in order.
11. Open the end link of a 12 link length of chain and close it onto the top side of the strands you added to the previous link in step #10 above.
12. Attach (2) 6mm copper jump rings onto the link just above the end link you added in step #11 above. Attach the lobster claw to these two jump rings (for added strength), completing your necklace clasp.
13. Slide the following beads onto a copper head pin: (1) 4mm orange mirror bicone, (1) 6mm copper rondelle, (1) 4mm green mirror bicone. Form a loop. Using a 6mm copper jump ring, attach it to the end link of the 12 link strand you added on in step #11 above to complete your necklace.
