Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute...but not a 3 hour project! I agree that this is not a 3 hour project. I'm a very experienced sewer and this project took me at least 7 hours to do. It' worth it in the end...just don't start this with the expectation that you will be done in 3 hours. I also didn't see a dimension for the circles so I figured out it's about a 5 in circle. I used the circumference of the pillow and then divided by how many petals I saw in the picture around the edge. The finished petal size should be 4 inches, so use a 5 in. template for seam allowances. I used 4 graduating shades of pink from light to dark for the petals and it is soooo cute! Just another idea to throw out there! Happy sewing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it finished! This pillow is gorgeous, but don't expect to make it in 3 hours. I am a pretty skilled crafter and it took me about 8 hours. The pattern says to sew the petals wrong sides together, but I did right sides together, I wanted the right side to show on the petals. I made my own pattern for the petals, I just used a cereal bowl, I think it's about 5 in. in diameter. sewing the petals on is a pain. I think next time I might try sewing the petals on first before sewing the pillow sides and bottom on, just make sure to keep the petals out of the seam. I'm not sure it will be easier, but I'll try it anyway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Time-Consuming Took forever to make. Not difficult, but the instructions are worded funny. Used 5" circles for the petals. Next time would stitch the petals on with the sewing machine before putting the pillow together. It looks beautiful when complete.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Chrysanthemum Pillow These directions are not very clear and are difficult to follow. You should include some diagrams to help readers better understand your directions. I am an experienced sewer, and found these directions confusing. Can you help me here?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chrysanthemum Pillow You forgot some of the directions. Like what size are the circles that make up the petals and what is the size of the long strip. I am an experienced seamstress and found this instructions confusing.
