Good decorative closure
Picked a few sets of these for decorative closures on a waist corset. My friend loves it, and the hooks stay together well. Just make sure to check the metal shades against each other in store--some look a little more black than silver.

Should work well for most clothing needs.
This does the job for most sewing applications, and it really goes look amazing. However, I have some concerns about chipping/wear over time exposing the base metal underneath. I’m not going to be machine-drying this, and I’m not going to put it in the washer unless I have it in a super-soft lingerie bag I’ve made specifically to avoid wear on thinly-plated metal buttons and clasps.
