  • Size 7 knitting needles or size needed to obtain tension
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

20 sts and 26 rows = 4" in stocking st.

1st row: (RS). K2. *P2. K2. Rep from * to end of row.
2nd row: P2. *K2. P2. Rep from * to end of row.
Rep last 2 rows until work from beg measures 8", ending with RS facing for next row.**

Next row:
Cast on 15 sts for left shoulder. Knit these 15 sts. Knit to end of row. 61 sts.
Next row: Cast on 15 sts for right shoulder. (K5. P10) across these 15 sts. Purl to last 5 sts. K5. Place markers at each end of row. 76 sts.

Next row: Knit across all sts.
