Description

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Bernat® Maker Home Dec™ (8.8 oz/250g; 317 yds/290 m), 1 ball each: Cream (A), Clay (B)
  • Sizes U.S. 11/L (8 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • 18" [45.5 cm] pillow form

DIRECTIONS:

    • FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approx 18" [45.5 cm] square
    • TENSION 10 sc and 11 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.

    • FRONT AND BACK (Make 2)
    • With A, ch 48.
    • 1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 47 sc.
    • 2nd and alt rows: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in each sc to end of row. Turn.
    • 3rd row: With B, ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 3 dc. Yoh and draw up a long loop around front post of next sc 2 rows below. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice – beg ldcfp made. Rep from * to last 3 dc. 1 sc in each of last 3 dc. Turn.
    • 5th row: With A, ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 3 dc. Yoh and draw up a long loop around front post of next ldcfp 2 rows below. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice – ldcfp made. Rep from * to last 3 dc. 1 sc in each of last 3 dc.
    • 6th row: As 2nd row.
    • Last 2 rows form pat. Cont as established, working 2 rows each with A and B until piece from beg measures approx 18” [45.5 cm], ending on a 2nd row. Fasten off.

    • FINISHING
    • With WS tog, Join A with sl st to any corner. Working through both thicknesses, ch 1. Work sc evenly around 3 sides of pillow, having 3 sc in each corner. Insert Pillow form. Cont working sc across last side of Pillow. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
