First time DPN user
Well, this is my first time using DPN's, so maybe this size wasn't best for me to start out trying to knit socks. While the quality is good, as are all the Clover bamboo needles I have, I found them difficult to use due to the size and probably the thin sock yarn as well. FYI I did purchase more in a size 5 and found them much easier to use along with a bit thicker yarn. Will give some thicker socks some practice then come back to these!

perfect length
Never used the bamboo - always metal needles. These are perfect for knitting socks. Stitches don't 'slip' off.

The end of slippery needles
I always dreaded using double point needles because it seemed like every time I picked up my project, a needle (or 2 or 3) would escape. These needles are smooth but not slippery like those pesky metal ones. I love them so much, I bought replacements for all my metal ones.

Love knitting with bamboo double points!
Working 3-4 double point needles in a round can be tricky with the metal double points, but found that stitches accidentally sliding off one end hardly ever occurs with the bamboo needles.

Excellent double points
I have tons of the Clover DPNs- from these size 2s all the way up to 10s. I love that they are always smooth, they are inexpensive(I lose DPNs like nobody's business!) and they are readily available. Plus the bamboo is "grippy" enough that I don't worry about dropped stitches when picking up sock gussets. Really good double points
