A Little Sticky
I found these DPNs too sticky to knit with smoothly. Fortunately my husband is a woodworker and has the supplies to polish my wooden needles to the finish I prefer.

Excellent buy
These needles are smooth, straight and just what I needed for some fingerless mittens. The mittens knitted up quickly, thanks to the yarn moving easily win the bamboo. I always look for Takumi.

Hand friendly
With arthritis, I never want to curtail crafting. Bamboo needles are easy on the fingers, and the yarn does not slip off as easily as with metal/plastic needles.

I love clover bamboo double point knitting needles
I really love clover bamboo double pointed knitting needles. They have just the correct amount of tooth so that they never slip out of the knitting. Much easier to use than a magic loop, where one is wasting time rearranging the knitting on the needle points at the end of each side (faster too). Especially recommend them for new knitters. The bamboo flexes ever so slightly if you're tense and seems to be the correct temperature for comfortable knitting.
