The Hera Marker makes slight creases on fabric that are your sewing guides. Can also be used with carbon paper. Uses no powder, but makes sharp, fine lines.
I love using the hera for needle turned applique. You can use it to trace around a simple paper pattern on the back of the fabric, no fusible and no glues or sprays. When you're done, the crease makes turning under the seam allowance easy and results in very smooth curves.
I love being able to mark my quilts without putting chalk or other markings on my quilt. It works great with most fabrics!
This is the best way to go when marking for a simple grid quilt pattern...no messy chalk, no lines to remove later..just run this tool down your ruller edge and move on to the next line. A must have for anyone that quilts with a simple grid pattern!
