A lifesaver!
This thimble is a must-have if you do any type of needlework. I have been making a lot of larger quilts lately, and though I mainly machine quilt I still hand-sew the binding down. This thimble fits snugly and is made of soft leather, so you still have good dexterity, and the "coin" keeps the needle from eventually jabbing through the leather. I'm so glad I tried one. It's well worth the price (especially if you use a coupon!).

I've used at least 3 different thimbles now since I started quilting 2 years ago and so far this one is the best and easiest and most comfortable to use. I quilt much faster with this thimble than the plastic ones I was using before I got this one. I find I'm enjoying quilting a lot more now with this thimble than before. If need be I will for sure buy another one and I recomend it to everyone.
Best thimble available
I love this thimble. I have had mine for about 2 years now. I use it for cross stitch. It helps to keep my finger tip from getting sore. I can stitch for hours on end and have no pain!! I actually turn it around backwards and don't use the "coin." I have never been poked! This is a wonderful tool.
Best kind of thimble
I love this thimble. Unlike the all metal thimbles, this one is flexible and comfortable, and unlike that all leather thimbles, the "coin" prevents you from being jabbed in the finger. It's the best of both worlds.
